As President of Duarte Nursery, John has been serving growers and assisting them with vineyard site appraisals, scion and rootstock choices, feasibility, and vineyard design since 1989. The opportunity to consult with and learn from the many growers, winemakers and vineyard owners during this time was a rare gift. It inspired both John and Alexandra to discover their own vineyard site and to develop a sustainable world class vineyard.
